Weird-slash-great things you can buy during Amazon Prime Day today (and maybe get on your front step by tonight).

Amazon started Prime Day in 2015 to celebrate its 20th birthday. In the last few years, Prime Day has broken sales records, well, because it’s basically Black Friday and Cyber Monday rolled into one day – and we all love a good deal. This year, Prime Day started last night at 9 p.m. and runs until 3 a.m. tomorrow. (30 hours instead of 24. Primers rejoice.)

And DYK we have an Amazon fulfillment center literally down the road from Cola, off Hwy-77 in Cayce? The one million-square-foot facility opened in 2011 and employs ~5,000 people (full-time + part-time). This hyper-local hub also means same-day delivery (depending on your proximity + item ordered). Last year when I was living in Charlotte, I ordered a camera lens before I left for work, and when I got home that evening it was on my front porch. Thanks, Cayce. 💯

To take advantage of Prime Day, you have to be an Amazon Prime member – but you can get a free 30-day trial membership (and cancel it in a few days if you want, we won’t judge). Pro tip: Download the Amazon App, which lets you track upcoming deals on items in Your List and receive notifications when the sales are about to begin.

While we’re not sure if any of these are on •special• for Prime Day, here are a few of our favorite Prime-eligible Amazon finds. 📦 ⬇️

The most important thing to remember for Prime Day is your credit card number – just kidding, it’s to buy only the things you realllllly want (or need, I guess).

Another pro tip: Shop using smile.amazon.com (at no cost) and Amazon will donate a portion of eligible purchases to the charity of your choice.
