Is the new Hunter-Gatherer brewery going to help make Rosewood (a.k.a The Hood) the newest happening place to hangout?

🛫 Owens Airport’s Curtiss-Wright hangarhome of the second Hunter-Gatherer brewpub, slated to open in August or September – sits across the street from 🌽 City Roots farm (who moved to Rosewood in 2009) + down the road from ⚾️ Owens Field Park – two locations that have already helped attract people to the Rosewood area.

🏡 The Rosewood neighborhood (home to ~5,400 people) originally got its nickname, ‘The Hood,’ because of crime in the area, but now people are embracing the nickname (bumper stickers and all) as the perception of the neighborhood changes with the help of successful businesses (like The Local Buzz, Pelican’s SnoBalls + The Kraken Gastropub) – plus more growth + and a better sense of community.
