Take it from us: we are living in a digital world. Our whole world revolves around Mailchimp, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Literally. The Karcher Group – experts in full-service digital marketing for 20+ years, based here in Cola + in Canton, Oh. – is all about preparing businesses for better digital marketing. (One of their Cola clients? The Columbia Office of Economic Development. Pretty badass.)

Next month, they’re hosting “Digital Marketing for Everyone,” their second annual one-day seminar in Cola on learning how to better your brand online – and actually get results. 📱

They held this conference last year, and found that a lot of attendees are one-man-band marketers: many were small, local business owners, side hustlers or the sole marketing person for their company. (Read: you don’t have to have a marketing team and big budget to be considered a marketer.)

The seminar is designed as a laid-back, interactive conversation, exploring which tactics will work best for your business. The Karcher Group and 52inc lead conversations on strategy, putting out the best content for your goals, search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing, social media, Google Analytics and app development; helping you figure out what platforms to work with and setting you up with the right skills so you can leave the seminar + move forward immediately, on your own, with actionable steps.

(Y’all, we can’t stress enough the need for good social media content + strategy for small businesses. Don’t be the company that everyone unfollows on Instagram.)

📍 The seminar is Wednesday, Nov. 8, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at The Venue on Main (1620 Main St.). It’s $99 to attend. Capacity is 30 attendees – so you’d better get on it.

Bonus karma points: All revenue from seminar registrations will go to First Tee Columbia, a youth golf program that teaches local kids confidence + sportsmanship. 👏 We’ll see you there.
