Market on Main

ICYMI, in August Market on Maina gourmet food + artisan market – announced they were coming to 1320 Main St. (in the former Zoe’s Kitchen location). And last week we got a sneak peek at the new digs, so we could give y’all an update on their construction progress.

Here’s the rundown:

Their anticipated opening date is early December

Full bar with cocktail program – ft. build you own old fashions and beer flights

MOM bar

Roll up windows for indoor/outdoor bar seating

Full kitchen that’ll serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with menu items like huevos rancheros, grilled portobellos, banh mi, scallops, truffle fries + Korean boiled peanuts

Several coolers for grab n’ go grocery itemsincluding local milk + eggs, frozen pizzas, cheeses + more

○ Extensive wine selection

MOM Tap beer

Outdoor serve yourself beer wall with 18 taps – the majority of which will pour local beers

Shade sails over the outdoor patio area (which will also be available as rented venue space)

Outdoor smoker to smoke meats for the kitchen

○ Stage for live music + 20 ft. wide outdoor LED screen

Update

Market on Main officially opened in December, but we finally got our hands on a few of their menu items last week.

Sam and I decided to welcome our Spring intern in fashion, so we worked from the cafe and took a look around the market while sipping on some lattes (they have oat milk, y’all).

The market offers a variety of goodies – from a world-wide wine selection to local treasures like pork rinds + cheese straws. The cafe offers American + ethnic items from their gourmet kitchen, and we tried the Tijuana caesar salad, Black Forest ham sandwich + the chicken salad sandwich with truffle frites (so good) on the side.

To drink, we had the Mainmosa + New York in Paris cocktails. Lunch was delicious, and we’re pretty excited to have such a distinctive space on Main St. Check out some of these photos of what the space looks like now:
