NowOpen: Fern the Flower Shop

After 10 years as a wedding + event florist, Columbia-based Fern Studio Floral and Event Design is expanding to serve the Capital City as a daily flower shop with weekday delivery.

Fern the Flower Shop officially opens today, providing curated flower offerings in-store and online, including:

💐 Thursday Flower Bar – allowing customers to purchase interesting, seasonal and locally-grown flowers by the stem

💐 Flower Club – providing an annual discount on all flower purchases + upon joining, you get a free bouquet and a Fern the Flower Shop tote (pictured above)

💐 Flower Subscriptions – for flower enthusiasts who enjoy fresh flowers in their home

💐 Seasonal Flower Workshops – hosting hands-on botanical experiences

💐 Bouquets and arrangements – using seasonal, locally-grown flowers, available for weekday delivery

Fern the Flower Shop is located in the heart of the Devine Street neighborhood at 2855 Devine St. Shop hours are 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Tuesday-Fridaywith extended hours until 6 p.m. on Thursdays.

To celebrate their grand opening, in the weeks leading up to today, they created a virtual scavenger hunt called #FernFlowerFlash on social media – featuring pop-ups of floral art in accessible locations throughout the city. Check some of our favorite Flower Flashes out below.
