The 1600 block of Main St. is getting a new addition. We’re talking about Smoked – a restaurant and microbrewery with a focus on specialty smoked meat, oysters + libations – planned to open this fall. 🙌

Construction is currently underway at the 1643 Main St. location, next door to Hendrix. The Reconstruction-era building recently housed Jeff Morris Furniture and Appliances + was originally home to Erhlich’s Shoe Store from 1868-1924. Calling all history buffs who love a good sneak peek: Historic Columbia is hosting a behind-the-scenes tour of the space on Thurs., Feb. 25.

While we wait for Smoked to open, there’s plenty to keep us occupied – like helping choose the restaurant’s logo. Consider the ballot box open, Cola. Check out the designs below, let us know which is your favorite on Facebook or Instagram, and we’ll pass the results on to the Smoked team.
