SOCO 80808

This week marks the Grand Opening of Columbia’s latest co-working spaceSOCO 80808 at 808 Lady St. in the Vista. The locally-owned business will be SOCO’s second (and largest) location, with over 10,000 sq. ft. of space.

Why 80808? Part of the space that SOCO is expanding into was formerly an artists collective called 80808 that was a signature of the Vista’s formative years. To celebrate the role the arts/creative industry has played in the Vista and our city, SOCO is bringing the name back.

You can check out the new space this week during a special “on the road” edition of 1 Million Cups (1MC) – open to the public this Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 9-10 a.m. 1MC attendees will get a behind the scenes tour of the new facility, meet some of the community members + hear from the SOCO team on what it takes to build spaces, communities and an entrepreneurial future in Cola.

Check out this article on SOCO 80808 that we wrote earlier this year when we first got word of the new space – feat. all the amenities, members, and the space by the numbers.

Jonesing for a new workspace for your team or yourself and want to know more? Check out SOCO 80808 or shoot an email to Lynn Luc – SOCO’s Community Manager and Cruise Director. You can also book a tour here.
