Pride month is back and Cola is prouder than ever. Throughout June, Cola will be rocking rainbows and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. If you want to keep up with all the pride around the Soda City this month, we’ve got the rundown on everything you need to know.

Columbia Pride

Outfest Columbia is an annual event hosted by SC Pride, a nonprofit organization that supports LGBTQ+ people. The annual event in the Vista aims to showcase local LGBTQ+ talent, vendors, and businesses, and you’re invited.

Events

  • Outfest Columbia | Sat., June 4 | 1 p.m. | The Vista, 1200 Park St. | Free | Outfest Columbia is headlined by Willow Pill, winner of season 14 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
  • Afterglo | Sat., June 4 | 10 p.m. | Capital Club, 1002 Gervais St. | $10 | The official after party of Outfest will feature the newly crowned “Mr & Miss Outfest Columbia.”
  • Columbia Fireflies Pride Night | Thurs., June 9 | 7:05 p.m. | Segra Park | $20 | Purchase tickets from the link included above to walk in the mini pride parade, experience pre-game on the field + receive an exclusive rainbow Fireflies hat.
  • Outfest Brunch | Sun., June 5 | 12 p.m. | The Woody on Main, 1649 Main St. | Reserve your tickets to the brunch show hosted by Elena DeVour and featuring two performances from Aja LaBeija.

How to get involved

We love a party, but Pride is also prime time to give back. Celebrate by volunteering with SC Pride or donating to SC PRIDE, SC Black PRIDE, Harriet Hancock Center, and Palmetto AIDS Life Support Services.
