You don’t need to be in Dublin to have a St. Pat’s worthy of the Irish. One of the nation’s best celebrations happens to be in our own backyard (Savannah, who?), and it’s happening this Saturday.

But in case you are a newcomer to the festival – or even if you’re just looking to plan your yearly shenanigans in advance – we’ve got a guide to St. Pat’s in Five Points for you. Irish I’d known these Pro Tips for my first St. Pat’s.

👟 Start healthy | We all know you’re going to blow a lot of calories today, so feel a little better about it and get ahead of the curve with the Get to the Green Race ($40-45; tickets include entry into the festival) beginning at 7:30 a.m. for the 10K and 8 a.m. for the 5K + Family Fun Run.

🍀 Parade on in | After the race, you’ll be in the prime location for finding a good parade route spot for the 10 a.m. start. You’ll even be able to follow it right into the festival – like you follow a rainbow to a pot of gold?

📱 Recharge yourself + your phone | You have to have taken 10 Instagram stories already, and we know you didn’t remember to bring your portable charger with you. Luckily, St. Pat’s has your back with The Cube (between Harden + Devine St.) – a tent with festival swag, ATMs + most importantly, a place to recharge.

🍺 Irish you were beer | We promise this isn’t just malarky, but St. Pat’s will have an alley of craft beer. Find it on Santee Ave. + indulge (responsibly) in all the local brews.

🍔 Grab some eats + shop | Head to the Devine Food Court + have your choice from local food vendors + food trucks. And who says you have to sit to eat? Stroll through some of the arts + craft vendors while getting your energy back.

🎧 Hit the Disco | Silent Disco-ing is an experience like no other, so grab some headphones to tune into one of the DJ’s’ sets between 2-6 p.m.

🎤 See the headliners (it’s gonna be a throwback) | End your St. Pat’s in Five Points experience with the festival headliner, Dashboard Confessional. Hands down, we know it won’t be a concert you’ll forget. The show starts at 5:40 p.m. on Greene St. Pro Tip: Hang out at the stage earlier to see some of these artists playing throughout the day.

If you want to keep planning out your day, find a map of all of the activities here. And grab your tickets now and pay $5 less than you will at the gate on Saturday ($20 vs. $25). 👇
