Feeling a night out in downtown Columbia, but don’t know where to start? Sam and Jess here 👋, and we teamed up with LTC Hospitality Group to give you the perfect night out. Regardless of how or when you spend it, here’s how you can #TryThis on the 1600 block of Main St.

What we tried (with pricing):

We kicked off our afternoon by popping into Good Life Cafe, downtown Columbia’s spot for healthy + vegan food. We enjoyed one of their cold-pressed juices, then headed over to The Shoppes on Main.

After browsing the eclectic, something-for-everyone shop, we walked across the street to go to The Grand, a boutique bowling alley, restaurant, bar, and destination for fun + activities all rolled into one. Speaking of roll, we ordered the most to-die-for Tijuana egg roll and zucchini fries apps before knocking down some pins. 🎳

To make this experience even sweeter, head downstairs to the Robinson Room, a cocktail and dessert lounge opening up this September.

What we did next:

Next, we headed over to Main Course’s 4 floors of fun + entertainment. Here they are, starting from the top:

  • On Floor 4, we played in the virtual gaming bays, working up a sweat and killing some zombies.
  • Floor 3 offers a member’s only player’s club with a bourbon bar, Pro-golf master fitter, putting green, and personal gaming bays to practice your swing. 🏌️

  • Floor 2 hosts Immersion, full of interactive rooms designed by Columbia’s upcoming artists’ imaginations. Be transported to France, an old skating rink, or inside a rapper’s mind.
  • The main floor is the restaurant + music hall, with local + nationally touring artists every weekend on 3 different stages (see upcoming shows). And don’t forget to take a trip to the self-pour tap wall where you can sample up to 75 different brews, wines, and cocktails. 🍻

What not to miss:

We finished our day touring the inside of Smoked. Opening in October 2021, it will have a rooftop, micro-brewery, several bars, and a downstairs speakeasy. Stay tuned.
