72,382 – The student attendance at seven home football games during the 2016 season

8,503 – The number of parents, family members and students who participated in Parents Weekend 2016. Nearly 10,000 participants are expected for Parents Weekend 2017, to be held Oct. 6-8. There are 38,491 parents registered for the university’s Parents Association.

200 The number of first-year students registered to participate in the Minority Assistance Peer Program (MAPP). This program helps first year multicultural students in their transition to the University of South Carolina. Each first-year student in the program is paired with a mentor.
