The first thing that comes to mind when you think “BBQ” is probably not champagne” – but it’s about to be. 🥂

Chefs + sommeliers are gathering at City Roots next Friday, Oct. 26 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. for F2T Productions’ – your local farm-to-table event company – newest event: Bubble Q. Yep, that’s the combo of words ‘bubbles’ + ‘barbeque.’

The setup for the night includes 6 different stations of smoked and fire-cooked meats, each paired with 4-5 champagnes from around the world. Dishes feature creative twists on sustainably-sourced, Southern meats, like:


    • Smoked Whole Hog BBQ and Congaree Milling Co. Hoe Cake with Bacon-Vidalia Onion Sorghum Molasses, ‘Bama White BBQ Sauce, and Cabbage Micros by Chef Frank Bradley of Bourbon
    • Smoked Chicken Cracklin’ & Caviar with Creme Fraiche, Red Onion, Chive and Cured Egg Yolk by Chefs Aaron Siegel + Taylor Garrigan of Home Team BBQ
    • Smoked Fall Pho by Chef Josh Bumgarner of Smokey Loggins
    • Smoked Brisket with Pickled Onion and Horseradish Sauce by Chef Lou Hutto from LowCo Barbecue & Catering
    • Manchester Farms Quail, “Jamaican Jerk"-style over Carolina Gold Rice and Beans with Tropical Salsa by Chef Kristian Niemi of F2T Productions + Bourbon
    • F2T Original Grazing Table ft. Local Grown Smoked, Grilled and Pickled Vegetables with Sweet Potato Biscuits with Smoked Tomato Gravy and Trail Ridge Creamery Smoked Cheese by Chef Gabrielle Watson of F2T Productions Catering

Tickets are $75 and include a fancy Bubble Q champagne flute, all eats + sips and live music. Our favorite part? You’re supporting local farms, chefs and wine distributors.
